This is precisely the way to win me over to visiting PajamasMedia sites more often – beer. POLITICSCENTRAL, a beta level podcast project of PajamasMedia, is slated to be a “civil . . thoughtful discourse on our views and aspirations.” Apparently Howard Dean will never be a featured guest.
Tammy Bruce says she will be seriously involved with the enterprise. One of the initial posted interviews is her discussion with Senator Rick Santorum about his tough re-election campaign. Tammy presents her view of the project on her blog Tammy Bruce.com. Glenn Reynolds of Instapundit and Instawife Dr. Helen, are two of the key contributors to the project, bringing their Glenn and Helen Show to to PoliticsCentral. Other current shows include interviews with John McCain and the Israeli Ambassador to the US, Daniel Ayalon. And other topics involve North Korea, Iraq, Afghanistan, business trends, the ‘08 election and America’s health care system. But Enough fluff.
The real important interview right now on the site is a look at micro brewing from Knoxville’s Downtown Grill & Brewery. Glenn and Helen speak with the Grill’s brewers about how they got started there, Downtown’s products and some history of local brewing. I haven’t heard the Glenn & Helen Show in awhile, and I’m impressed. Many podcasts are so stilted. Glenn and Helen sound polished and relaxed. But they didn’t mention how much sampling they might have done.
For people interested in brewing, the restaurant business or bringing excitement to downtown areas it’s a fun listen. And once in awhile its nice to hear a show with no screaming or doubletalk and a clear exit strategy of empty bottles. BEER HERE.
Well everything seems to be working again after some serious switch and server problems with the webhost yesterday. It doesn’t happen often, but its sure annoying when it does.
I apologize for the inconvenience. Now its back to radio and talk – straight ahead.

A few days ago Mark Levin noted, “The US Senate has done more damage to America than terrorists could ever do.” He was talking about this.
A few months ago most of the 83 senators who voted to build the southern border security fence, did so in order to lie to their constituents. Most of those same pieces of garbage have now voted against funding the construction. The full roll call is here.
And here is the list of those who voted for the construction and against the funding. These hypocrite bastards include some interesting names. Remember them.

Liberal MediaMatters, “a Web-based, not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) progressive research and information center dedicated to comprehensively monitoring, analyzing, and correcting conservative misinformation”, whew, every day presents what they think are just awful statements from conservatives.
Naturally, I think they’re usually cool statements. Referring to the treason of the New York “Slimes”, as F. Lee Levin terms it, Ann Coulter wrote earlier this week about her preferred consequences. Said Coulter, “I prefer a firing squad, but I’m open to a debate on the method of execution. A conviction for treason would be assured under any sensible legal system.”
The ManhattanJazeera, aka N.Y. Times and other anti-American publications went nuts trying to indict Cheney with the so-called outing of a not-so-secret operative, who was actually outed by her own husband and co-conspirator in the Niger trip charade. Now, however the Times and editor Bill Keller think nothing of disclosing details of entire intelligence operations because as Keller later explained, they (the Times) are in a fiercely competitive business.
MediaMatters, apparently obsessed with this matter, writes about it again today and provides us with some audio from Jon Caldara, a terrific Denver talker. Caldara, at midnight est., follows the great Gunny Bob show on KOA, the streams of both are of course listed in the TalkJunkie schedule.
Coulter makes the point that both 9-11 commissioners, “who are not exactly ferocious hawks, and even Jack Murtha, . . even Murtha asked the Times not to print this,” Caldara follows up talking about how the Times is now smartly sharing these stories, sort of seeking out “safety in numbers.” Of course there is no safety from Ann who explains how she has “no problem with prosecuting them for treason either.”
Thanks for the audio.

So you think you’re hot stuff if you do well on those citizenship tests that ask about the number of stripes on the flag or how many Men In Black are there? I’ve taken those a few times too. Like this one. And frankly, I only got 95% on this test. Do I have to leave the country? I missed one because I really rushed through it, honest. And of course, there were one or two lucky guesses.
Well anyway, get ready to take on a slightly more challenging set of questions posed by Neal Boortz. If I start in on this test right now, I might be able to get back to you with the results in a few months. You have to do your own answer checking and scoring too. And maybe, just maybe if Neal is in a good mood, he might let you stay in the country. Me, I better start packing.

*From FY 2000 to 2002, spending in New Jersey increased 21 percent.
*Governor I’m A Gay-American James McGreevey and replacement Gov. Richard Codey increased general fund expenditures 13.3 percent in FY 2005.
*Governor Corzine has now proposed a 9.2 percent budget increase.
That is why Corzine is holding the state hostage for a 16% sales tax increase. Yes, for the math or truth challenged, going from a 6% sales tax to a 7% sales tax is an increase of 16%.
In other words New Jersey has been and continues to be run by crooks. And Liars – Corzine in 2005 – “I’m not considering raising taxes. It’s not on my agenda. We have a very high-rate tax structure. I’m not considering it.”
We can only wish the following headline was real.
New Jersey Governor Sent Home as Non-Essential Employee
